Early in the morning ,Mama woke up to prepare the requisites needed for the day trip planned by Mama..so here it goes..

We then headed to Choa Chu Kang swimming complex and had some fun with the water..

After which Papa brought us to Century Mall, the mega giant at Tampines..though we shop, we did not drop hehe..

This time around Papa followed to give me moral support..
We came to Healthspring Family Clinic at 1830hrs...but only managed to see Dr at 1900hrs..so meanwhile waiting we did this....

At 1900hrs, we went in to see dr, after a general check up, Dr said hmm I was 7.2kg, a bit chubby for my age but its ok...
Then came the 'jab' and dats it..I cried though at the start and then I calmed myself down less than a minute...haizz Mama & Papa was shocked as they expected me to cry longer..oh Mama & Papa, I juz want to show you how strong I am...and Mama kept telling Papa.."She followed me, we are strong"..hehehe

My 1st time celebrating National Day with my parents..We were supposed to go to a wedding invitation at Bukit Gombak and stay out there for a while but too bad Mama was not feeling well..Papa was also pretty tired after painting Tok Ayah's place in the mornin..so our National Day was celebrated at home..Maybe next year, the lovable family could go to Marina Bay ya papa??

Its supposed to be a planned swimming day but the weather turned out bad so we ended up leaving the pool..Pity Paman Solihin, he only managed to soak his body in the pool and then we ended up having to leave early.

We headed to IMM, went to see Ibu Ilah and her exhibits..we were given a chance to feel how it is like to be behind the cells..and of coz Ibu Ilah as usual will always end up taking pics of me..

Then in late afternoon,Papa brought Mama out for a treat for their 1st wedding anniversary on the 2nd June..

At 1430hrs, Aunt Nadrah and Uncle Yanhao came over to visit me..I was being good..I opened my eyes when Aunt Nadrah carried me...Aunt Nadrah and frens bought me an AVENT complete steriliser set and a Minnie Mouse gift set...thank you Aunt Nadrah, Uncle Yanhao, Aunt Harvinder and Aunt Joey..see you on 1st June..

Yesterday evening, after bath, Mama and Wah Ina put me on a matress on a prone position(lying on my tummy)..They did it the day before but I was too tired to make any movement..Yesterday, they did it again, this time around, I tried several times,lifting my head up, put it down,up and down,up and down...in the end, I DID IT!!! I managed to change my head position, from lying to the left , I turned my head to the right...what an achievement I did..Mama was so happy that she clapped the hardest..and as a reward, I got my milk...yippeee!!!!

Its been days I had been wif Mama and Papa..my feeding regime had increased from just 30mls to 90mls..hehe Mama was delighted wif the progresses I made day by day. I learnt how to smile, how to grin, how to cry longer for a certain period..At nite, I slept 3 to 4 hours before waking up to cry for milk...

I love bathing early in the morning, Wah Inah will prepare the bath water..I love the Johnson & Johnson Baby Shower foam..love the way Mama or Wah Inah will massage my back after bathing wif the Telon Oil.haizz how pampered I am...

Sorry, Mama was too occupied that she had not updated my blog..haizz Mama...
Let me update you all on what happen recently...ready people??

14th April 2008...
Mama went to clinic to meet Dr Anna..for weekly checkup..Dr Anna told Mama that she could be due soon, so delivery suite hotline was given to Mama..Mama and Papa, are you ready for my arrival??

19th April 2008...

Mama on rest day.. Nenek Idah held a feast, Mama and Wah Inah went to Yishun..that day Mama felt uneasy, she kept going to toilet and had back pain.. Wah Inah wanted to send Mama to hospital but Mama refused..

20th April 2008...

Mama had continuous backpain..Mama had to take MC..rest for one day,waiting for the next day to meet Dr Anna..

21st April 2008...
12 noon: Mama went to meet Dr Anna. Hearing my heartbeat, beating good..suddenly Dr Anna said.." I could feel you contracting..let me do inner examination for you..( while Dr Anna place her finger into Mama) oh you are 2cm dilated..you can be in labour earliest tonight or in another 2 days..." Mama was given the choice to stay in labour ward or to go home and monitor for frequent contractions..

1500hrs: Mama reached home,saw bit of bleeding..

1800hrs: Again, Mama saw bleeding..Wah Inah told Mama that she had to go in to hospital, fearing should there be any problem though Mama was not having frequent contractions..

1930hrs: Mama waited for Nek Wan to fetch her and headed to the hospital..

2015hrs: Reached hospital, Mama was examined and told to be 3cm dilated..

2045hrs: Fleet enema was given, Mama had to clear her bowels..

2119hrs: Waterbag burst, oxytocin infusion started...Mama and Papa still watching the P.Ramlee classical movie "Pendekar Bujang Lapok"..Mama could still laugh in intervals between the contractions.

2345hrs: Mama felt contractions getting stronger,could not take it she asked for gas as pain relief..Nurse did examination, Mama was 5cm dilated, halfway through labour..

22nd April 2008...

0030hrs: Contractions getting more stronger and frequent..again examination was done..7cm dilated..

0100hrs: Mama was in pain..could not take it anymore...Dr Anna came in at last, Mama was fully dilated..episiotomy was done...

0123hrs: Mama gave 2 last sets of great push and out I came...

A day in the clinic..

Mama went out of home early..reached Women's Clinic at 0930hrs.Registered Mama's name..waited and waited(as usual)..At 1015hrs,Mama was called in to see Dr Anna..everything checked,all fine except there was glucose ++ in Mama's urine..

Mama had to lie on the couch,Dr Anna checked my heartbeat..."Heartbeat good,baby looks good..Siti,maintain your weight,cut down on any sugary foods,I guess your baby may be big and that may affect your delivery later ok...." That is what Mama had been hearing for the past few months..

To Mama's shock,Dr Anna told Mama that I am 35+3 weeks today..gonna turn 9 months soon...Mama thought that I was only 34 weeks today(haizz Mama,you were too busy at work that you lost count of my days...) Today, Dr Anna spotted Mama down with URTI again and she asked Mama to rest and gave Mama hospitalisation leave...yippee Mama got to rest a bit more..I'm lovin it...

Its April 6th 2008..

At last Mama had an off day from work..I woke up late and start moving at 10+am..when Mama is getting dressed up to go to Uncle Azri's and Aunt Sidah's wedding reception..
When Mama dressed up, she looked at her tummy..wow..wat a big tummy she has..though dressed in black jubah,her tummy can be seen..well Mama,I am already 8+ months now...

Few more weeks, Mama had to let me out...

Today, I had nice serving of nasi beriani..yummy..then in late afternoon Mama had hot U.S. fries dipped in tartar sauce...delicious..Mama carried kakak Zulaikha Qistina in her arms today, hughhh i felt sense of jealousy that I start to 'drumroll' in Mama's tummy..In the end,Mama handed kakak Zuilaikha to Aunt Nadrah and Mama continued wif the fries(dat sounds better hehe, notti me rite)..

Now , I am getting notti,as Mama pen all this down and Papa watching soccer(as usual)..I played around in her...causing Mama to feel unease,having to change position regularly...sori Mama..

Its 9+pm, Mama wanna get early nyte..tomm Mama had to meet up wif Dr Anna..till my next input ya....

As days progresses by....

Its 2nd April 2008...I am 33 weeks old..growing big in Mama's tummy,moving here & there..but I was good when Mama worked. Only when Mama rest,then i would start playing around. Poor Mama, on 17th March, Mama went for her routine checkup & had the 2nd detailed scan done. I was told to be of 2.2kg..but what Dr Anna said made Mama felt worried, " Take care of your daily intake,if not your baby will be too big, about 3.5kg at birth!"..As a result,Mama had to do the OGTT (oral glucose tolrance test) to check if Mama had gestational diabetes..
Awaiting 7th April for the result and next follow up with Dr Anna
Not to worry Mama, I will behave myself in you... :)

5 months in the womb

Its 7th January 2008..Mama went thru a lot while carrying me in the days of 2007.. she had a bad morning sickness that she had to be hospitalised for a day for IV hydration..only till eve of Raya,Mama realised that all she need was toasted bread..hehe..so during the Raya trips, she had to bring along bread juz to ensure she don get nauseated or vomit.. The day had come..once more Mama & Papa made a trip down to NUH ADC to have a detailed scan of me..this time around, the room was much darker than the previous rooms..the doctor scanned me...oopss I have grown big, see my head, eyes, nose, my hands, my legs and the doctor said sumting that shocked Mama & Papa..its a baby gerl..Mama tot that she had a boy due to her bad pigmentation and wat others told her...it was a shock to them.."Mama,Papa...its Nur inside..".

Mama shared the news wif Nek Wan, Mummy Noi, Ibu, Wah Ina, Uncle Wan and Nek Idah.. Mama was scheduled for another repeat scan in 2 months time to see my growth status..Haha pinky, pinky closet, here we go....

Today, papa accompanied Mama to see Dr Anna. Once more, Dr Anna did another scan. Today, papa saw me in the screen..”Hello Papa, saw me???” Papa was so delighted to see Allah’s creation for himself for the first time..

3rd September 2007..Mama went to the clinic alone. Meeting Dr Anna, Mama got to know that the nurse had ran the blood sample for a wrong investigation. So Dr Anna decided to go ahead with the scan to see if the sac could be seen..Dag dup da dup...Mama felt so scared..In the room Mama felt the probe in her, Mama dare not see the black screen until Dr Anna said “ There’s your sac”..oh Allah, how relieved Mama felt seeing the small dot on the screen. “Mama, here I am, inside you..swimming freely...” Mama was scheduled to see Dr Anna in 2 wks time..17th September

Today, Mama went to the clinic to have the repeat blood test. In her heart, she kept praying hopefully the blood level would not be too high..waiting for 3rd September to know the results..

30th August 2007

Mama was in the ward walking up & down, as usual once at werk, she gonna be busy that she forgot that I am inside her. Suddenly at 10+am, Mama felt something warm down there. Mama went to the ladies and realised she was bleeding. Mama got so scared, she spoke to her ward sister and she released Mama to see the doctor at staff clinic. Mama went to the clinic, the doctor examined Mama and upon palpation of the right side, Mama verbalised of intense pain. The doctor told Mama “You should have gone down to A&E”. Mama asked why and the doctor told Mama that Mama could be having ectopic pregnancy. At that point of time, only Allah knows how Mama felt. Being referred to the O&G specialist, they did a scan for Mama. More terrifying, the specialist told Mama that they could not see any pregnancy sac..After consultation with Dr Anna, Mama’s specialist, she told Mama not to feel so fearful, Mama had to do a blood test to see if the HcG level was elevated too high as that may indicate ectopic pregnancy. That evening Mama had a call from NUH, stating the blood result was positive that the HcG level was raised way too high. Mama was told to come back in 2 days for repeat of blood test. Mama cried the whole evening, fearing what the doctors say were true...

Knowing the presence of me..

It was dated 29th August 2007, Mama and Wah Ina decide to go to Geylang for shopping. Never did Mama walk around with normal shoes,always a high heel shoe would be her choice. On that particular day, Mama felt so tired after an hour of walking that she decided to buy a new flat heel slipper. Mama noticed something was wrong with her. Last nyte, Mama had sharp cramping pain when sleeping which lasted for 5 to 10 minutes, Mama realised she had great appetite in eating and if she don eat fast, she will feel her whole body trembling. 'Wat is wrong wif me?', thought Mama. She consulted Wah Ina and Wah Ina replied that Mama could be expecting. Suddenly Mama realised, ' Oh ya,my menses had not came for this month..'. Without delay, Mama send sms to Papa and asked Papa if he could do Mama a favour..guess wat?? hehe..help Mama buy the pregnancy test kit.

It was almost 6+pm, Papa went out for his gym trainin, leaving Mama at home..Mama was uncertain as whether she wanted to carry on wif the test kit..she did once last month but the result was negative. In the end,after much thougths, Mama decided to carry on with the test..Upon testing, Mama was fearful of looking at the test strip,waiting for the outcome..Mama decided not to get too anxious, she waited without looking completely at it..After few seconds,Mama peeped at the screen window and........Alhamdulillah YESSS!! Mama saw two lines appearing..she shared it wif Wah Ina and waited for Papa to come back and shared the joyful news...hehe
